THE SCHOOL OF LIFE: 'THE POINT OF ART' TOURS

The School of Life present 'The Point of Art' guided tour aiming to provoke a reconsideration of crucial assumptions about why we must experience art.

In late 2013, the renowned philosophers and authors Alain de Botton and John Armstrong released their much-acclaimed book, Art As Therapy. In it they raise the question of what the purpose of art really is, and propose that art can be looked to and enjoyed for its powerfully therapeutic effect.

The Point of Art guided tours seek to help us develop a deeper understanding of art and of ourselves in equal measure. The tours are an intimate experience in which you will be guided through unique interpretations of selected pieces at The Other Art Fair.
