NATIONAL ART SCHOOL PRESENTS

The National Art School showcases the depth and diversity of art making at the school, featuring eight accomplished artists across its core teaching disciplines of painting, sculpture, ceramics, photomedia, printmaking, and drawing. Director and CEO Steven Alderton presents a curatorial space of recent National Art School graduates and artists from the APY Art Centre Collective.

THE OTHER PROJECTS

We have a dynamic program of site specific art projects and installations for visitors to interact with and examine whilst roaming the fair.

Be transported momentarily out of the ordinary and into another dimension and take a walk through Christine Ko’s multi-layered tunnel to uncover a hidden secret.

Liam Herne presents Light Geist - step into the dark and ponder over current events; and Wordscape - showcase your own imagination and creativity in this collaborative artwork.

PERFORMANCE ART

Show Us Your Teeth is a collective of artists Amy Claire Mills, Bailee Lobb, Kate Bobis, and Monica Rudhar. Don’t miss the Opening Night  show ‘Tableau’ - camouflaged displays of self-expression.

Look out for Deep Sea Astronauts on Friday night who play with classic stories and archetypes to create works that are always lots of fun and often a bit subversively cheeky.

MOVING IMAGE

Take a break and immerse yourself in The Red Room, Presented by AFTRS (Australian Film, Television and Radio School), where you can view exceptional film and video works of past and present students.

KIDS CREATE

Come one, come all, come and add some colour to Mulga’s Magical Colouring Wall.

SOUNDS

Enjoy a curated music program that promises to get the party started! Our partners at Musicland have booked in some of the best selectors and musical minds on the Sydney scene.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Treat yourself to a variety of delicious treats and tipples from Smoking Gun Bagels & Coffee, Epic Pizza, Broomfields Pies, and N2 Extreme Gelato.
